PAT Testing
PAT Testing only 99p per item, no setup fees
Are you up to date with your Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) ?
According to the HSE, there were nearly 500 reported accidents involving electricity in 2007. It is your responsibility as an employer to ensure that your electric equipment is safe. The easiest way to do this is to have a system of regular inspection and testing. The Electricity at Work Regulations place a legal responsibility on employers, employees and self-employed persons to comply with the provisions of the regulations and take reasonably practicable steps to ensure that no danger results from the use of such equipment. Should any piece of electrical equipment become faulty and harm anyone at your workplace the HSE will be asking you to show them how you ensure your electrical equipment is safe.
How we can Help
The ITexpress Computer Heroes are able to PAT test your equipment, providing you with a full report of every item we have tested for your health and safety records. The tests are performed using the latest PAT testing equipment and by a fully certified PAT tester. Of course, it helps that we are also computer experts and can ensure that your work is saved and your servers treated properly during the testing, so your workplace is disrupted as little as possible and your data is kept safe.
For the past 9 years, the ITexpress Computer Heroes have been providing new computers, network installations and support services to businesses in the Yorkshire and Lincolnshire area. During our many visits to businesses we install new computers and equipment, and service existing equipment. Over the years we have noticed that some equipment has never been PAT tested, or it has been PAT tested many years ago and is now forgotten about, putting employees at risk from faulty equipment and employers at risk of prosecution. We are now able to offer a PAT testing service to your business, for as little as 99p per item*. As part of the service you will receive a comprehensive report detailing the inspection and we also keep a record for you of how often a piece of equipment has been tested, so you are as comprehensively covered as you possibly can be with regards to the safety of your electrical equipment. We will also remind you every 12 months, that your PAT test is due, making this obligation as easy for you to manage as possible.
